- research on selected property or properties, including Court
records title double-check and Local Property Registry done by our lawyer
- conducting property inspection by independent authorised
property inspector
Stage III - legal
procedures
- Drawing-up a written contract for signing by
both the buyer and seller or their authorised representatives
- All signatures are certified by a Court in Montenegro. The
finalised and certified contract establishes the legal ownership
- The Inland Revenue Office determines the value of the
property and Property tax of 2% of the valuation is paid and confirmed by an official
stamp on the contract
- The payment of the agreed price to complete the purchase
- The new title for the property is registered with the Local
Property Registry.
There are no restrictions regarding the purchase of
residential property in Montenegro. However, investors wishing to purchase land for
development must register a company in Montenegro. Our lawyers can assist with forming a
business entity, opening a business account in a bank of your choice and subsequent
company book-keeping, accounting & tax administration
Stage IV - after sale services
- providing you with our team of professionals in renovations,
builders, property insurance, property security improvements etc.
